Happy Dream

Bright images to lighten up the mind, ear rings, bracelets, beads on a sunny afternoon, no need to be gloomy. The mind relaxes a minute. Thoughts settle down and things become vibrant and alive.

Happy dreams, just before waking up I dreamed a pair of beautiful ivory hands touching the top of an old pine table, blackened with dirt. Where the hands rested, the wood became white, like drift wood. The whole plank soon became clean, from power radiating out from the beautiful hands. I knew this was a metaphor for the mind. A good student works hard to eliminate darkness of ignorance and confusion. Sooty dark mildew and grime and sticky tar vanishes as one gazes towards white sand at the edge of a vast sea and then up at the clear sky.
