lone building

lone building
lone interior
lone facade
description
Friday, these photos summarize something, or maybe they don't. Wednesday afternoon, the sky got really dark, with strong wind and rain. Rainy, dark days could have a dampening effect on one's mood, or one could remain even keel, cheerful no matter what. Whether happy or sad, it doesn't matter too much, as long as one doesn't make it into a big deal.

There's something rugged and picturesque about loneliness. Intense desolation cracks the facade of stupor. Anything intense has an invigorating effect. I felt so lonesome, it woke me up to the richness of visual sensation. Loneliness forces me to go visit friends, or talk to people on the phone. It's a key to opening the door of the heart, so one can feel connected with humanity. Maybe that summarizes the photo sequences of the past few days.
