Lohbado working on a book |
The big question remains: did you do your homework. Since the beginning of the year, the teacher has been "teaching towards the exam." In other words, the purpose of education is to score high on exams. Curiosity, innovation, imagination and creativity are irrelevant. In this age of nihilistic materialism and conformity, it's the numbers that count.
Lohbado's approach to creativity provides an alternative to the competitive, goal-orientated model of creating consumer goods. Made according to Club Morono principles, Lohbado's painted books involve direct contact with the elements of food, drink, metal, rock, air and fire. The paintings occur during tactile rituals. The above pictures are from a typical Lohbado art session. The images are unfinished.
