window gazing

many windows filled with mannikins

Yesterday I walked down Jean Talon towards Metro Parc in Montreal. I love gazing at window displays and signs. I took some pictures with a pocket camera. Part of picture taking is the fact that there's always somebody who feels you shouldn't be taking pictures. There's so much fear and paranoia surrounding photography, even though everybody does it, with all sorts of devices, not to mention that one is constantly within range of surveillance cameras and satellite images. After I took the first picture of mannikins, I had a coffee. I ignored the angry glare of the shop keeper. After coming out, the mannikins were covered up.
