lohbado outing

corner of Rue Saint Jacques and Saint Pierre
Lohbado went on another bicycle outing. The trick is to ride safely. Don't flail about. Don't toss and turn at night. Don't wallow in negative thinking. Don't spend too long on Internet. As Lohbado rode, he recited a nursery rhyme from The Puffin Book of Nursery Rhymes gathered by Iona and Peter Opie. It's on page 175.

Mrs Mason broke a basin,
Mrs Mack heard it crack,
Mrs Frost asked how much it cost,
Mrs Brown said half-a-crown,
Mrs Flory said what a story.

Lohbado's favourite book of nursery rhymes is The Annotated Mother Goose: Nursery Rhymes Old and New, Arranged and Explained by William Baring-Gould and Ceil Baring-Gould. The notes are very helpful. That's it for today.

As they say: "Wash and wipe together,/ Live in peace forever." # 530, page 218. And if your hand is itchy, "Rub it on wood/ And it will come good." note 61, page 218.
