Years ago, while crossing the Plains of Radiation, Lohbado found lodging for one night at the house of a retired consultant who had just purchased the head of a wolf from a hunter. He showed Lohbado the wolf head simmering in a huge cauldron on the stove. Fortunately, he'd already and removed and eaten the wolf steak he cut from the back of the neck. The man was a specialist at scavenging whatever could be eaten. He had a collection of wolf, bear and caribou skulls in his living room.
